Hi,

Does anyone have a PDF of the Welsh Government's National Transport pan as published by Edwina Hart?

The Welsh Government have helpfully removed it from their website.

I'm aware of the more up to date National Transport Finance Plan - but its the 2015 version I'm after.

I'm aware of the more up to date National Transport Finance Plan - but its the 2015 version I'm after.

To be frank none of the so called "National Trasnport Plans" published by the Welsh Government are worth the paper their written on. They generally consist of a list of projects most of which never see the light of day, then a new Minister arrives and a new plan appears with some similar projects, some new ones and others that mysteriously disappear. Then a few years later the merry go round continues and some dropped projects rear there head again.

I did at some stage start a spreadsheet with them all on. Lets just say the "completed" % versus appeared in NTP is somewhat low.

As the press release at your link says, it was published in December 2014 as a draft for consultation, and the consultation period ended in March 2015. It's not clear whether the intended subsequent non-draft version ever appeared. I suspect it didn't, being overtaken by cuts in the UK government's funding to the Wesh govt.

At the time of the original consultation I posted about it as follows on SABRE (a roads forum of which I am a member):

Apparently such plans come out every five years. There are lots of files, but the meat of it is in chapters 3 and 4 of this, especially page 85 (pdf 87) onwards:
