Quick question - I've designed one of this class in Lego, and the next step is to order parts. I'm leaning towards the more traditional green, but I was wondering if the Rebuilt BoBs ever wore any other livery, such as red? For example, I know a few A4s and even - I think - a Merchant Navy bore BR Experimental Purple...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

All rebuilt Bulleid pacifics were green I believe. (Unrebuilt Merchant Navys were blue and then green).

34027 Taw Valley was repainted harry Potter red circa 2003 or thereabouts and 35005 Canadian Pacific was blue in the late 90's. Whilst in BR service they were all green.

The short-lived painting of the largest express locos blue (with black and white lining) came soon after nationalisation, and predated by about 10 years the rebuilding.
