In order to keep the newly, created excellent 323 thread on the final countdown, to those leaving to Northern or going elsewhere, If possible via admin would like to start a new one, looking back at the History of the 323s, ie Nostalgia and History of them in the West midlands and services worked, plus in depth History Nostalgia from 1993 if anyone can remember.
Starting of with:
1. Back in 1993, wasn't there a possible plan for the Birmingham New Street stopper service to go to Rugby on 323. Terminate in North Bay. With the 321 extended from Northampton to terminate at Rugby in the South Bays. Ex London Euston
With the Coventry 323 terminater going to Rugby?.
Plus any other useful information from past Times is much appreciated.
Thank you
