Weymouth - Bristol Temple Meads

If I purchase an Off-Peak Single £17.40 from Weymouth to Bristol, Route: Via Yeovil, could I catch the 16:20 SWT Weymouth to Dorchester South and then walk to Dorchester West to catch the 17:42 FGW to Bristol? I require a 1 hour break in Dorchester

The alternative would be a single Weymouth to Dorchester and a single Dorchester to Bristol, which would cost an additional £4.20

It is not routed "FGW Only".

FGW are not allowed to price their own TOC-specific tickets on this flow, as they 'own' the flow.
