Yes. Although NR seem pretty ambivalent about reports from drivers in our area about missing/faulty equipment. Approx. 11 AWS magnets on just one of our routes have been reported on a daily basis by most drivers for almost 18months now for giving a horn instead of a bell at green signals and they fail to fix them! It doesn't inspire drivers to report things when they get ignored. This lack of action makes drivers lose faith in the system and cease reporting minor faults as they believe they are being ignored.
In our area, an AWS magnet fault (When reported by the Driver) is faulted, the next train is also spoken to just to double check it's not a train fault, which is quite common, the S&T turn up and depending on severity of the problem, fixed within 2 or 3 hours, 24 at the most if parts are needed that they don't have locally.
Looking now we have no AWS faults at all M. Tey to Norwich/Bury/Harwich/Felixstowe/Clacton, although we do have
one TPWS fault, but does not affect services.
If a TSR is moved, and it's wrong, it is then faulted when the driver tells the Signaller, a caution imposed until it is rectified, only board missing we don't caution for, is the 'T' board
