What equipment is typically fitted in the driver cab for CCTV-based DOO?

Is it several screens, or just one screen which cycles between all of the different cameras mounted in doorways etc. - is there some way for the driver to select what they see etc.?

There's a lot of talk about the cameras, but surely some mods to the cab must be needed too?

On the 195s and 331s there are two screens that show up to six 'blocks' each which are feeds from individual bodyside cameras. Each block can be zoomed in to to fill the screen, but the screens aren't very big. The quality of images is ok unless there's water/frost/bug debris/general crud on the camera housing, but the cameras point at all sorts of angles and there's no way I would feel safe using that for DOO dispatch.

As above. In cab equipment usually two monitors, displaying an number of images. On my stock its 5 live images (4 cameras, 1 pointing down the length of each carriage externally an extra 1 for a blind spot so one carriage has 2 cameras facing each other ) 10 images for a double formation. Each image can be pressed to fill the full screen to zoom. Giving a door close command reverts the screen back to the full range of images. Red flashing dot on each screen indicates cameras are live and you're not looking at a frozen image.
