What happens if first class is declassified on LNER?

Just a quick question: what if first class is declassified?

On LNER services today, there was a lot of disruption due to trespassers on the railway. I hear one of the services was full and standing and first class had been declassified. Do LNER just not provide first class services if it has been declassified or do they continue as much as normal because there are paying first class passengers in the carriage?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

If it is officially declassified, all first class service will stop. This would be notified to control and the customer contact centre.
You would be entitled to the difference in fare between your first class fare and the equivalent standard class fare.

The first class passengers can claim back the difference in price between their ticket and a standard ticket.
