Apologies if this is really obvious, or has already been asked, but what is this structure at Piccadilly Circus on the Bakerloo line platform please? How is it accessed, if at all?20181209_130403.jpg

A long time ago you would see a member of staff inside and they would make announcements, the other side there is a door. I don't think it is used anymore unless something is going on like reversing trains in the platform.

Similar role to the GLAP (Gate Line Assistance Point), the box that is found next to the ticket barrier that can hold 1 member of staff.. provides somewhere for a member of staff to sit and is a place of safety if someone starts having a go.
