As it's open floor i'll have a go.

This route starts in Liverpool & is operated mainly by deckers, however the allocation is mixed between Enviro400, ALX400, Gemini & the occasional single decker,

Clue, this is a cross river route, which has a local feel to it as well, also interworks with another cross river route.

No
Another Clue, on the route there is a Church which used to be in the middle of the Roundabout until the Road layout was changed. Even though it's a couple of miles away, the spire of the Church can be seen on this Road & route, from just past the Town Centre, as it's a straight Road.

:D

Let's see now:

This route starts in Truro and has a number that players of a certain game will appreciate. It is one of Cornwall's most well-used routes and links a major institution in the Truro area with a different prominent institution at the other end of its route.

Who are you calling two fat ladies?

Obviously I can't answer that, but said ladies are the correct answer. 88 between the Royal Cornwall Hospital on the edge of Truro and Falmouth.

Although the timetable describes this Dundee route as a circular, it follows the same linear route in both directions (apart from a short one way section at it's terminus). In addition it takes an hour and 20 minutes to reach it's terminus despite ending up only 5 miles away from it's origin.

Zzzzzzzzzz. *Wakes up*

Yes, the 26 is the one. City Centre to Broughty Ferry via Ninewells and the Northern city surburbs. Replaced the Outer Circle services.

OK - try this:-

This route starts in Halifax and serves a hospital, a former model village and a town which has recently revived its Rushbearing ceremony.

Lots and lots. What I have is general knowledge of some parts of the country, but not individual bus routes which can change frequently, so use of maps and Google is in order to confirm my initial thoughts (or refute them completely). It just happens that most of the questions in this quiz have referred to areas I know tolerably well, or better. I have finally found a use for all the useless knowledge stored in my head :D.

Although I called open floor no-one has posted, so I shall.

This route starts in Rotherham and heads south before terminating somewhere to the north of that town: a more direct journey between the two termini can be made in half the time this route takes.
