Habrough has 2 platforms according to Wikipedia...
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
And just as I say that I go and check my facts and realise Bare Lane has 2 as well. Oh well, you learn something new every day...

I must have misunderstood what is meant by a through line...

I don't think a terminus would have freight passing through... :P

I'm sure Stevenage has a through line using that definition (in the form of all the East Coast, FCC semi-fasts to Peterborough/Cambridge etc.) Or am I still not getting it?

Right, let's see...

1) Correct, Bristol Temple Meads
2) Correct, Southampton Central
3) Correct, Tamworth
4) Incorrect, Ledbury is next to a tunnel, no correct guess yet
5) Incorrect, Reddish South has no through line, no correct guess yet
6) Correct, Penzance or Paignton
7) Incorrect, an Airport is not a type of transport, but a type of transport hub
8) Correct, Stevenage

To clear up a couple of points:

by a type of transport, I mean a type of vehicle or other moving transport, by the moving vehicles name. With an airport, the type of transport is an Aeroplane, the airport being the Aeroplanes station and not a type of transport. A train is a type of transport, a train station isn't!

Also, by a through line, I mean a line with no platform! Eg. Bristol Temple Meads has 2 through lines, the Up through and the Down through, both with no platforms! Stafford also has 2 through lines, lines with no platforms!

Apologies for the confusion, hope this clears that up!

Stations served by both LM and FGW:

Worcester Shrub Hill
Worcester Foregate Street
Malvern Link
Great Malvern
Colwall
Ledbury
Hereford
Ashchurch
Cheltenham
Gloucester

Ledbury is the only one that fits the westbound trains clue.

11 sounds like the old layout of Severn Tunnel Junction; but that now has three platforms and one through line since the new platform opened.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
11 is Port Talbot Parkway. (I think; not sure about the through lines bit.)

Yep, the through lines end just west of the station (was misreading the map).

See above Eagle, shouldn't have put in terminus next station, apologies!

All Virgin trains services travelling away from London terminate at a station with the name of a fruit in it

17). Station has two platforms
Served solely by FGW units
Next to a road crossing
Trains heading down either terminate here or head to a terminus station

A train to Derby can go either way at the Junction

19). Station is a request stop
