I've seen something about this! I think it's to do with computer programs getting past copyright?

The name will come to me...

On the right lines, it is to do with copyright algorithms, but what exactly is it?

OK, the answer is...

This is an "illegal prime", it contains information forbidden by US law to distribute.

In a snip....

"Its binary representation corresponds to a compressed version of the C source code of a computer program implementing the DeCSS decryption scheme. Such programs are illegal to possess or distribute under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act." - Wikipedia

huh? lol I'm not that technically minded as far as programs and software are concerned.... more a hardware side of things chap me! Doesn't look like binary to me lol... however as far as binary is concerned it translates to "2«‘&óP¬ü« >pv ÞwëL±0gáqã•"

The binary representation of that number is identical to a C program to kill copyright protection. So if you converted that number to binary, uncompressed it (using whichever compression algorithm - I don't know which one i twas encoded with) you would have such a program.
