looking on google Images and noticed this strange Platform without a station looking siding and wondered what it could be for?
its connection to the Eurostar Platforms makes me think its something to do with them but cant see what benefit it would be assuming Eurostar Trains just use the same Stabling areas as Most other Trains and why does it seem to have a platform?

Thalys trains are stabled there so I guess it’s for cleaning. Other SNCB stock is stabled nearby and there is a train cleaning team based in between. I see the piles of rubbish bags and their portacabin as I go past into Midi.

This is the platform where high speed trains are cleaned and re-supplied between two trips. Specially Eurostar trains. It is part of the 'clean zone'.

No it is not.

This is the so-called "catering track", once intended to re-supply the trains. However, it was never used as such because the catering firms refused to use it. It is used to stable high speed trains between duties to free up valuable platform capacity. It is NOT a part of the security zone and the track can also be used by "normal" trains. It is also used to put rail/road cranes on the track during work posessions.
