Hi everyone,
I was installing the LTS for MSTS. It needs about 20 steam trains to not bring up any, "Error reading database" messages. I am not really into steam, and I have electrified the route. I don't want to download all of these steam trains because 1 I have not got the room, and 2 it will make life hell trying to find the trains what I actually want to drive. So could somebody please tell me where is the information what is causing these messages to pop up in the route files, I.E the file what is telling MSTS to go and look for these trains. That way I can delete these documents and cause MSTS to stop bringing up these messages constantly.
Many Thanks :)

Use Train Store to load only the files you need for the route you are using. Then it stores everything else that isn't associated with that route. That way you shouldn't get any error messages.

The error messages are showing because you didn't install the trains either correctly or at all and the activity is trying to load them but can't find them, so I just try and remove them from the activity.

Hi there,
I ended up deleting the activities because I didn't really want them, but the messages are still coming up, any ideas?

Use Train Store then, if the activities don't require the steam trains then they won't be loaded.

Thanks so much for your help, this has also fixed a problem on the district line route where errors kept coming up. Thanks so much, works a treat :)
