Newcastle has one very big gorge, but other than that isn't too bad - as shown by the fact it's metro is largely at ground level railways. Prague also isn't significantly hillier than Leeds, and Rome is famously seven hills (or is it eight), none of which are overly large. Haven't been to Oslo so can't comment.Newcastle is not hillier than Leeds by any stretch of the imagination (except, to be fair, bits of the town centres).
