Hi all. A bit more research for my website and again general interest.

So which media player do you prefer to use?

Windows Media Player - www.microsoft.com
Real Player - www.real.com
Quicktime - www.apple.com
DivX - www.divx.com
Other

I use WMP more because its on my PC and can play most things. But when comparing all Microsoft products, something is always better. In this case for me its Real Player because it is more stable. :P

Where on earth is iTunes?

iTunes technically isn't a media player as it can't play videos :P

Anyway, it comes under QuickTime because you have to download it with it

I've never had QuickTime and I have iTunes. Oh, and I have played videos in it (I'm sure I have).

Depends. I use iTunes for music, Media Player for videos, Real Player for real files, Quick Time for MOVs, etc...

I voted other also, because I use WinAmp as my primary media player, however I will use WMP for playing video files.

I use Windows Media Player because it does all I want and starts quickly... if you want to hear Real files but don't want to install the awful software that is Real, do a google search for "Real Alternative".
