Hi All,

Approaching Wichnor Junction on the South Staffs, there is a string of tall lamp standards [highway style] adjacent to the single line, which seems out of keeping with the low level lighting usually installed at junctions in recent years. Has anyone any info on these please?

Many thanks,

Moony

Is that for the walking route for drivers changing ends when doing a shunt?

Early junction lighting schemes used standard hinged lampposts before standardising on the lower level LED lights
