Will tesco from Inverness be operated by a GBRF 66 tonight?

This morning 66031 DRS carrying 4H47 Tesco from Mossend - Inverness failed at Blair atoll and a GBRF Class 66 (66739) Came to the rescue. The train is now set to go back to Mossend at 19:00 instead of the usual 13:40, does anyone know if 66739 is running this or is 66031 working fine now?

All I can see is that there is 4z47 ,19.00 Inverness -Mossend this evening. No allox yet.

66739 is in Inverness for the southbound sleeper at 2045, which formed of 10 coaches, isn't going to be allocated to a single 73.

Isn't the best bet that 66031 has been fixed?

Someone else said that there is another DRS loco there already that will take it down

66739+73971 allox the sleeper. 4z47 departed 20 early so all looks ok for 66031

Are you sure that 66739 did the rescue? Railcam shows 66432 running from Kingmoor, so that would be what is doing 4Z47 south.

Yes, the GBRf loco ran down to Blair Atholl to clear the line and recover the train to Inverness while DRS were moving their own loco up from Kingmoor.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes sense of the reports on the scot-rail forum that both 66739 and 66432 were involved.

Yes I seen a video of it, DRS 66432 went up separately to haul the train later that night so 66031 is staying in Inverness tonight
