Once the Class 777 is introduced, are there likely to be major changes to the timetable? Presumably it will allow more frequent services due to better acceleration and lower dwell times.
Been wondering recently if the driving policy for Merseyrail has changed. Seen some very cautious arrivals and departures at underground stations, even when the platforms aren't particularly busy.The new trains will be faster than the ones they will replace and journey times will reduce on all lines on the Merseyrail network. The time saved is shown per line below:

No it hasn't, if the platform starting signal Is red then you'll see trains crawling in
Have seen it happen at Moorfields when approaching greens plenty of times.
