"Winking" tram destination screen on Sheffield Supertram

    Whilst on Supertram yesterday, there were a number of trams (the Siemens-Duewag ones) on depot that had eyes on the end destination screens - some where both eyes were open and one where they were winking. I believe the side destis had "EYES" and then other references on it, but I didn't get a proper look.

    Can anyone shed any light on what this is for and whether it carries any meaning?
