The commemorative Winton Train has left Prague on Tuesday morning Sept. 1st and is presently steaming through Germany towards England, where it will arrive on Friday and where A1 Tornado will cap this remarkable train journey, to remember the evacuation of jewish refugee kids from Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia in 1939. The train was hauled by 4-8-2 steam giants 486.007 and 498.022 in the Czech Republic. In Germany 41 018 and in Holland 01 1075 will deliver the traction power.
