Over the last week or so the shelters and waiting areas on the southbound platform at Yate Station have been being removed through the day. This follows the addition of tactile paving being placed down close to the platform edge. Is there any information on a redevelopment/upgrade or are these just planned replacements? It seems unusual there's no signage as to what is happening.
