The Youth Rail Enthusiasts Association is excited to bring you Video Fest 2012, our annual competition which is now entering its third year. As always, we give you a title and you create a video around it to be in with the chance of winning an amazing selection of prizes. This year were really keen to bring you our biggest competition yet with a selection of prizes worth over £1,000 which exceeds all weve offered in our last two events, not to mention the money-cant-buy prizes also on offer this year. Are you ready to create your video?
This year, our first prize winner will receive a Merseyrail Experience Day for them and a friend which includes a trip to the control centre, a depot tour and a cab ride. They will also receive return travel to Liverpool for this trip provided by London Midland from any of their stations. There is also a selection of 4 First Class return tickets on Grand Central, plus a number of other items including a 00 scale Hornby locomotive, some Rail Simulator goodies, and a £25 Redspottedhanky.com voucher. To read more about the prize and also see whats on offer for second and third place, visit the Video Fest page.
The video title has now been revealed to First Class ticket holders via our forums. All other members will find out the title when the competition opens for entries on Thursday November 1st, but if you cant wait that long then why not upgrade now? Not only will you get the theme a week early this year, but you can take advantage of a whole host of other exciting benefits including 10% off in the YREA Shop, which will be returning very soon.
We look forward to seeing lots of high quality entries this year, our members never disappoint! And we really hope a few of you from RailUK will come across and join us for this amazing event, we'll welcome you warmly - just remember than we're for people ages up to and including 25 only.
