313, I wish I'd moved on to socket AM2 while I had the chance. DIMM2 seems to have died on my terrible motherboard leaving me with 1.5GB RAM but now it's a lot happier overclocking, so 2.5GHz it is.

Obviously because you don't know what you are doing. ;)

AMD perform slower then Intel.

As for Celeron, it's an excuse to keep obsolete processors around for a few extra years.

And if you want the specs of the other computer...
Gigabyte GA8ID-533 motherboard, rev 1.1
Intel Pentium 4 2.0GHz (apparently overclocked to 2.02GHz, though I didn't do it!)
768MB SDRAM
60GB IDE-133 hard drive
32MB nVIDIA RIVA TNT2 m64/m64pro
LG GSA H10N super multi DVD drive
LG DVD ROM drive
3.5" floppy drive

Netgear WPN111 USB wireless dongle
Netgear GA311 PCI ethernet card
Belkin PCI ->USB2 card (Yes, it's so old it only has USB 1.1)
HP PSC 2110 all in one printer

Certainly not AMD or Mac Intel is the best and Windows is useless but its the only one that everything works with!

I had a spare Mac off someone i knew, and it broke the second week.

Ive also got an Amstrad PCW158?? sitting around with a Mouse, Green/Black monitor, Dot Matrix Printer, 2x stupidly large sized floppy disk drives, keyboard, 512kb of memory and i bet it will kick your computer up the proverbial USB socket anyday Loader, as it cant and wont crash!!

AMD perform slower then Intel.

That is a bit of a blanket statement, it changes and AMD often have a better price to performance ratio also taking into account that Intel boards with the high end chipsets are usually more expensive too. Fanboyism is pretty retarded.

One monitor for each eye....

I would overclock this, but seeing as its hot already I'm not going to until I can get some better cooling. That won't happen until the warranty expires in May.

Good god, that's positively ancient!

mind you, it wasn't that long ago that we were measuring speed in the low MHz ( I wasn't live then though)

Tis always good to restart, but I rarely do anyway cause I'm too lazy.

Web browsing, playing media, downloading, Skyping, MS Office stuff. Just the usual.

Would explain why its fine then. Though the longer you leave it the more resources are taken up and such...
