I’m hearing reports that the land next to the track has subsided at New Mills Central. This comes after a 5mph emergency speed restriction imposed by Network Rail, which has been in place for a prolonged period of time. It’s been said that the earth besides the track has been moving, although I’m unaware at the rate or severity at this moment of time.
