Bracknell MP - service to Waterloo unacceptable

I wish my MP would bring my line up.... He had an item a couple of weeks back in the local paper where he gets the write a page but was mostly 'I am continuing to talk to them about it.' Waste of time.

    Peterborough to London off peak

I've just moved to the area and now have to buy train tickets instead of using a Oyster card! So according to this webpage https://www.lner.co.uk/tickets-savings/your-ticket/train-ticket-options/off-peak-tickets/ I could take any train that arrives after 10:08 into Kings cross for a Off peak...

Crossrail - operating discussion and opening day 24th May

Took my first journey this week. I had to do a West Drayton to Stratford journey. Train was busy from Paddington, Most got off at Liverpool street with me, I jumped on an East Anglia that was leaving 2 minutes early from Liverpool street instead of a EL. It looked like alot were doing the...

Crossrail - Construction updates and progress towards opening (now expected 24 May 2022)

Depends on which Platform you get on the high line. Platforms 12 & 14 have about a 10-minute walk where as platform 1 is right by the entrance to the Elizy line. At the top, you can see the train doors so its only one escalator down to the trains.

Ya know I visited a client today, The first thing I said was your on 8 year old software and most of the problems you are seeing is due to staying with the old software. But they said we can't as we need to test and the good old 'what if' came out... Most of the time these what-ifs are fixed...

If yesterday was the last big passenger station exercise, They must have all gone ok? Does anyone know if they need to redo any? There is a train software update over Easter and then maybe 2 weeks full running? I'm going the end of May myself, In time for the Queens events.

Crossrail - Construction updates and progress towards opening (now expected 24 May 2022)

My facebook reminded me of the photo I took 4 years ago showing the roof going onto Paddington station. And my comment was only 7 months till it's open! Which has aged well as it's now hopefully less than 7 months till its open

Crossrail - Construction updates and progress towards opening (now expected 24 May 2022)

I visited Paddington for the first time in a year today and had some time to look at the new part of the station. Very impressive, So many gates on the gate line it's like it's for a station near a football stadium. They were also cleaning up the old Paddington building within the Elizabeth...

12 Mins of trespass at Dawlish

I'm sure on knowing of it the cam owner would turn it off. Someone was watching it at 4am to notice this guy! So I'm sure it wouldn't take long before someone tweets or messages them. A lot of people think TV is delayed, for this reason, I spent 4 years working on motorbikes on TV, and...

Crossrail - Construction updates and progress towards opening (now expected 24 May 2022)

Didn't someone say recently they might scrap the staged opening and go full hog and open the whole lot in one go? Is that still on the cards?

Crossrail - Construction updates and progress towards opening (now expected 24 May 2022)

He has been elected again, He has 4 years to finish Crossrail, doesn't matter about bad PR now. As much as the torys tried to blame him for the delay of Crossrail it was obvious it was never going to finish on time way before during Borrises watch.
