No indication on RSTL FAQ about whether Retired Staff will be able to use it. Anybody know please?
Eligible employees and safeguarded staff. No mention of whether active or retired though.
Happily retired and Safeguarded !
Passed through Lewes only 72 late thanks to very slack timings. Put straight into sidings at Eastbourne so does look like Hastings round trip cancelled.
A few years ago when I was a member of Southern Train Planning staff I noticed a set of points at the north end of Gatwick Airport Platform 5 were giving a rough ride with a distinct left-right lurch at speed. A colleague had reported this a couple of weeks before and PWay had improved things...
No mention of Newhaven yet !

Could this be a way of 'cheating' the PPM figures ? You can't cancel a train that's not there in the first place.
If you compare what is shown on RTT on the day with the...
Unfortunately simply solving the RMT dispute won't improve things much. It will just be one thing less for Southern to blame diverting attention from their own shortcomings. There is still the continuing shortage of traincrew, both drivers and conductors. And the new timetable introduced last...
