    You definitely can, Oyster is accepted on Great Northern for all stations up till Hadley Wood and Crews Hill.

    I was travelling from Welwyn North to New Barnet today and found this notice on the old TVM in the station that it was out of order (attached). It says that they are replacing the existing fleet of self service ticket machines and that it may be necessary to reduce the number of machines...

    Not sure about the names of the models but I can confirm that all the old model ticket machines at Welwyn Garden City on GTR/Great Northern have been switched to a new ticket machine model, and the same/similar models have been installed at Welwyn North and New Barnet stations. If you ask me...

    New Thameslink logo

    Just interesting to note that Govia's rebranding Thameslink with a new logo, distinct from Great Northern. Not sure what I think, but interesting that they've decided to make the two lines entirely distinct identities. http://www.thameslinkrailway.com/about-us/new-thameslink/
