The off route timing data is available so I guess in theory yes. The railways internal systems don't manage it very well though so I can't imagine it is an easy task!

Brave suggestion but assuming you're on the 1833 from Kings X the train dwells in Leeds for 14 minutes, if you're at the North end you'd have ample time to go through the barriers and to the ticket office....
The possession will be handed back over the weekend for a light loco to 'route prove' and stock balancing to happen before services start Monday. Damaged unit is being roaded out in the next couple of weeks.
