Delay Repay for four passengers

If you need to claim for Delay Repay for four separate passengers travelling together, but with separate tickets, does each of the passengers have to claim or can one person do it for all?

From past posts on here, each passenger has to apply individually.

With Northern you have the choice. Bear in mind that if one person claims and chooses free tickets then these will all be in that person's name.

One person can claim for all of them but with most TOCs they'll need to put in four separate claims. Parents would for example normally claim for their children.
