Hi all

Whilst waiting for a very delayed TGV I started googling French rail trackers, and found a map based one (https://mobility.portal.geops.io/wo...&y=5900000&z=5.5&baselayer=world.geops.travic)

However this seemed linked to the timetable and my train wasn't on it at all.

Do any other countries have Traksy/RTT style sites beyond the live departures?

Searched this forum for a thread but couldn't find one, delete/merge as appropriate

Germany has https://bahn.expert/ which although it is by station, shows the schedule of a train if you click through. It doesn’t show freight/non-passenger services but for many DB workings it will show the stock allocation including vehicle numbers, if you pick the option to turn it on.

Finland has an official one from VR, but the best is Julia which takes real-time data from the Traficom servers and displays more or less everything you ever wanted to know about real-time train traffic in Finland. I use it for my commutes to work and back - if just to know why we're stopped at a passing place or the current speed, etc

Here's the map: https://juliadata.fi/map/view?mode=trains#8.15/64.101/24.437

I've just taken a look at this and it seems to cover Germany as well. Very handy!!

Add to that Ireland and parts of eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
