Good software for design layouts for Transport fever 2

Hi,

I am re-design a major section of my railway network in TF2 and instead of doing it by hand as it hurts my wrist, i was hoping to find some software that could help with track layout designs. I have an idea and i know what i want it to look like i just need some software to make the track layout before i do any work in game. Any ideas?

Personally, I’d just test it in game in sandbox mode. There’s going to be no better testing environment and software than the actual game itself.
