Good morning. Some success yesterday re Metropolitan line. Can I be a pest and ask
Victora line Lu11035/36. Are they likely to be about or rather inactive more long term
District, Cirule, H&cC Similar I still need LU21463/64 LU21469/70 and odd ones LU21480 & LU 21488. Have I any chance to see them or are they lost causes meantime!!

Afternoon all,
Wonder if anybody could help with a few random engineers workings from early this morning? I got the first Metropolitan train from Ruislip Manor (05:20) into London and saw several engineer workings going the other way, not 100% sure of the train IDs but they all seemed to be Hammersmith-Ruislip. Any help with the consists would be great (train IDs are what I could work out from part detail on intertube so may not be correct):

Ah no worries, thanks for the response anyway. If I'd known in advance I would have got there 5 minutes earlier and then waited for the next Met service so I could have seen them all passing through the station.

If you're after anything specific I'd recommend the intertube site, although with the Piccadilly line I find it isn't always that useful in realtime especially for services that go round the loop at Heathrow. I try to keep a record of what's been running recently but this won't cover every unit as some won't have been out for a while. If it helps this is what I have noted from personal sightings and other sources, the dates in brackets are the last noted date so should give you a good starting point even if some have changed since last week:

91341 is very long term stopped (since 2016). It has a significant modification that was tried, but not extended to the rest of the fleet (aside from one non cab unit which is also stopped). There was a project to return it to service, but this was paused at the beginning of the pandemic. There was a brief restart of this work more recently, but it has come to nothing. It will eventually get the AC traction upgrade as part of the Central Line Improvement Programme (CLIP), but probably as one of the last to be done. From memory, 91155 however is one of the prototypes in this programme, so is stopped now but should be back in service in 2023…

Bakerloo: 3260 and 3532 are both stopped with an expected return date of 1 December 2022
Victoria: 11035/11036 11057/11058 are both long term stopped with return dates of 1 December 2022 and 31 December 2022
Central: 91111, 93012, 93446 and 91263 are all stopped for conversion to AC traction and should be back in service next year - although you could see them test running. 91337 and 91341 are very long term stopped, with no realistic chance of return until they go through the AC traction programme (see my previous post in this thread about 91341).
S7: 21379/21380 stopped with an expected return date of the end of this month, 21479/21480 stopped with an expected return date of March 2023.

I cannot see the above information for the Piccadilly and Jubilee units you ask about, but 868 (with 869 leading) last worked on 9 September 2022. As far as I can tell, 96078 has been stopped throughout the year.

Out of interest, Bakerloo 3260 & 3532 are the only 2 of those I need too, I did notice on Intertube (assuming it was correct) that they did a couple of runs from Stonebridge Park to Elephant & Castle and back last month, I think I noted it as 10th & 11th Oct (it ran as service #744) so hopefully it will be back out next month as I missed these as I couldn't get out of work in time.

The other units that are eluding me are as follows so I'd really appreciate it if anybody had any info on any of these:

Central: 91001, 91093, 91101, 91109, 91209 & 92026, 92054, 92150, 92176, 92206.
S7: 21463/464, 21487/488, 21503/504, 21549/550 (and also need 21469/470 which I've seen photos of inside Ealing Common shed but haven't been able to positively id which one it is when I've seen the shed doors open).

3260 and 3532 are undergoing Rail Vehicle Accessibility Regulations (RVAR) modifications. There expected OK date is 1 December, so that fits with a recent-ish test run, hopefully nearly finished.

91001, 91093, 91109, 93026, 93054, 93176 and 93206 are all stopped as part of the Central Line Improvement Programme (CLIP) for fitting AC Traction.
91101 has been waiting materials for some time and remains stopped past its expected return date.
93150 has the same modification as 91341 (see many posts in this thread) and is long term stopped and will likely not be touched until it and 91341 enter the CLIP programme.

91209 is working train 57 and is just approaching Ealing Broadway as of 11:27 today.

21463/464, 21487/488 and 21549/550 are all stopped expected back at the end of the year.
21479/480 are not expected back until March 2023.
Take these dates to be an aspiration rather than a guarantee...
