Norwegian TV Summer Train

Norwegian TV (NRK) are touring the country on a special train this summer. They are recording each days trip in realtime and broadcasting it in the afternoon usually starting at 14:00 BST.

The broadcast can be watched 'live' at https://www.nrk.no/sommer and is available afterwards at https://tv.nrk.no/serie/sommertoget-minutt-for-minutt.

There's also a 'highlights' program broadcast each evening that's available to watch in the same places.

The next one is on Tuesday. There is a break each Sunday-Monday. Presumably allows time for any maintenance needed.

I have just returned from Norway and Sweden and saw parts of that programme in the early evening on NRK1. I also think I saw the train on the line between Trondheim and Narvik.

For part of the leg between Kongsvinger and Grorud the presenter took a ride on the Urskog–Hølandsbanen, a preserved narrow-gauge line.
