Is this the same Ginger who used to post on here about how happy he was that Abellio were taking over from NX because all of the GE problems were solely down to them?
Yes, I believe it is and he's tweeted that AGA MD is meeting with him this week.

First experience of TfL Rail this morning.
The station is the same. The train was the same. Two staff on the platform, which is new. First train of the day three minutes late, which is not
Will these be the last routes that get taken over of could LO take over more routes from different TOCs at some point?
As I said earlier in the thread, I expect very little actual change until the dedicated Crossrail stock comes in.Well of course that means its a complete failure if it's already eight o'clock on day one and they've not fixed everything.
Maybe TfL should take over NR's role on the GEML.

In addition to above replies, there was a map published in 2011 of what they hoped to take responsibility for, London Connections' current article on the transfer includes it here: http://cdn.londonreconnections.com/2013/possibletakeovers.jpg
One significant difference on that map is that it predates the decision to keep the Wimbledon Sutton loop as a T/L core service - it would obviously have been a TfL grab if running into the bays at Blackfriars.
If the outer TL/GN routes prove successful and both additional stock and paths for them become necessary, could we see the Sutton loop transferred either to LO or even just Southern services in a few years? Those trains use four paths per hour through the core. Releasing them by terminating in the BFR bays would be useful especially in the peak. Any DC only stock could then run the loop, 378s for LO or 455s for Southern.

My short route from Chingford to Walthamstow Central arrived on time.
The only thing I really noticed was it looks like the entire platform/ticket office staff at Chingford have been replaced.
To be fair to GA the staff at Chingford were always polite and I wish them the best.
Then you're getting into purely political territory. As discussed many times, retaining the Wimbledon loop on Thameslink was a sop to the people who shouted loudest, it is nothing to do with best use of the overall core capacity. So how firm was that promise?
Some of those staff were a bit lackadaisical but the majority at Turkey Street were very nice to deal withOh, I hope that hasn't happened at all stations. The guy who normally ran Turkey Street ticket office on weekdays was always a pleasure to deal with; he's been serving me tickets on and off since I travelled to school by train ten years ago.
(On the other hand, the other members of staff who helped out at Turkey Street station always seemed to have a woefully inadequate level of ticketing knowledge so I won't miss them one bit.)
Only one LO liveried 315 was out yesterday 315 817, others remain in the former white with red doors. They actually started a month or so ago as there have been a few 315s running around in un-branded LO livery. They look very sharp I think.
Believe it or not, there are already several tweets saying "Bring back AGA". LO has had yet another terrible day on the Lea Valleys and the lack of information from them is stunning.
.......LO has had yet another terrible day on the Lea Valleys.........
Ex Stansted Express 317714 was on the Emerson Park line on Monday.
Stockholm Syndrome much?Believe it or not, there are already several tweets saying "Bring back AGA". LO has had yet another terrible day on the Lea Valleys and the lack of information from them is stunning.
Some of the confusion over which is and which isn't the Lea Valley line might come from Wikipedia, which has 'Lea Valley Lines' article claiming the term is used for the Chingford, Seven Sisters and Southbury Loop lines as well as the actual Lea Valley line through Tottenham Hale.
From posts elsewhere, I understand the intention was to have full 315 operation during weekends and for most of the weekday off-peak with 317s restricted mainly to peak workings and the Upminster line. Not sure if that has been the case in practice though!
