We spend just over an hour admiring the scenery before taking the 12.59 TfW service to Pwllheli arriving at 15.19 on Thursday.

Walking to nearby Pwllheli bus station, onto the number 17 bus at 1650 (operated by Berwyn) to Aberdaron, arriving 1733 (Thursday). And a chance to visit 'Glasu' ice cream shop / café on Mitre Terrace whilst waiting.

The only choice we have here is to return on the last bus of the day the 18.55 Berwyn service 17 alighting at Pwllheli, Ewenni at 19.28 on Thursday.

Back to the railway station, and onboard the 2026 TfW train service to Barmouth, arriving 2146 on the Thursday.

With no buses and only one more train available the only choice is to back track so we take the 22.48 TfW service to Pwllheli alighting at Porthmadog at 23.39 on Thursday.

After a much needed overnight break, it's back to Porthmadog station at 0747 in the morning for the TfW train service to Shrewsbury, arriving 1119 (Friday).

We leave the bus station and from the nearby bus station we take the 11.45 Select Bus Services service 436 to Bridgnorth, Sainsburys arriving at 12.45 on Friday.

Thankfully, we are able to use the overnight travel relaxation rule and stay in the bus station where we board the 0605 trentbarton service V1 The Villager to Tutbury (the bus stop adjacent to the Ye Olde Dog & Partridge on High Street) that arrives there at 0646 on Saturday morning.

Not much one can do at this time on a Saturday but to wait for the next V1 at 07.46 to Burton on Trent, High Street arriving at 08.01 on Saturday.
