Hi all!
I'm going to Birmingham tomorrow and am looking for some ticket advice. The cheapest ticket I've been able to find is this:
Super Off Peak Return valid via: High Wycombe (£36.30 with YP Railcard)
The booking engine doesn't show any morning peak restrictions for this ticket, is this right? I just want to check as I'd like to be on the WSMR loco hauled diagram out of Marylebone at 0837, requiring me to travel up on the 0653 from Folkestone - St Pancras. That's another thing, is this ticket valid for HS1? I'm always wary about travelling that line from past experiences. If I am unable to use this ticket on the 0653, I am able to travel later and was wondering if it is possible to excess it for use with Virgin from Euston. This would only be for the outward leg as I'm aiming to make the 1555 back from Moor Street anyway.
Many Thanks
Marc
