Extravaganza.

Appalling attendance, though.

On Saturday afternoon the 40 had eight in the coach behind it at one point and two in the coach behind that. Even behind the Deltic there was plenty of space - even in the front coach.

Perhaps it was a combination of the weather, closeness to Easter weekend and the fuel situation but I've rarely been to such a modestly attended gala.

I'd hardly call Llangollen busy - the MNR was certainly much busier on Friday than Llangollen was on Saturday.

If that was the run in tandem with the 20 it will have been because the neds were scoring the gronk!
