Another easyish one I hope.
This place is a bus station now, but wasn't when this picture was taken. It was the parking area for at least two bus stations though.....

Correct of course :)

OT but was Newcastle unique for a provincial city in having as many as 5 concurrent bus/coach stations in the city centre?

When I lived in Salford in the 1980s Manchester had Arndale Bus Station, Victoria Bus Station (actually in Salford, but only just), Piccadilly and Chorlton Street which were all definitely Bus Stations, and there was Stevenson Square which I don't recall being called a Bus Station but was more of a Bus Station than some of the ones this quiz has thrown up.

Anyway, back to the Bus Stations:

Pretty sure that's the First London Buslines livery. Harrow?

There's Lever Street Bus Station as well.

Hurrah!

Despite living just down the road at Hitchin for 3 years I can't have visited it more than half a dozen times as my buses went from the Station after the bus station and the town centre doesn't have much to attract me!

This one's changed a lot since I was last there

Me back :) I have some more ammunition for this thread ready for use, and will update the stats over the next few days.

I had forgotten Lever Street Bus Station - I think I had moved from Salford by the time that one came into use.

How did you forget Lever Street? You challenged us with it here not so long ago...

No. It's not a place beginning with an S :)

Or anywhere else in Essex by my reckoning. Actually, I don't think I recognise it at all.

Gatwick. Not the faintest idea why.

Well done on finally getting one right by the way :)
