Is it possible to buy n-network Daytripper tickets online? Failing that, could FCC sell me one at Bedford?

Not as far as I am aware. I believe that only Scotrail rangers/rovers can be purchased online.

Yes they can in theory do that. It should be on the rover enquiry screen, I think it is listed at 'Netowrk Dayripper', but don't quote me on that. I'm not sure how the add on should be sold, I presume it is some form of ranger. FCC can physically do it though, assuming the clerk knows how.

The Network Daytripper is a special NWM branded blue ticket, so I think it's only possible to get it at stations in the NWM area.

I might be wrong though.

I had it issued on orange before at an out of area station. The ticket was accepted by guards and TTIs without any difficulty, although I must state that I didn't use any buses or trams.

Thanks for the replies. I thought this might be the case. The plan was to use it as part of a ticket split to get to BHM, then rover around the area for the day.

BDM - COV SVR £7.64 including sale price and railcard discount was what I planned
(Note: travelling out via Bletchley, returning via Leicester)

If anyone can suggest anything cheaper, please let me know.

Normally it's on blue stock (although since one can buy it on a bus you could get their stock too). I've not been able to get one online although I admit I've never had to get one from outside the boundary. Hopefully the guard will be able to sell it on board

nb: The Daytripper can be used in the afternoon peak out of BHM if you so wish

Remember that at least one of the TOCs at Bedford operate penalty fare schemes, so make sure you approach the guard while you are still valid.

My plan was LM to Bletchley, LM/SN to MK Central, then Virgin onto Birmingham.

Provided I got the ticket before Coventry, there shouldn't be any problems.

Think I've managed to rejig my journey to put a break at Coventry anyway on the outward.
