This is a rough idea of what I'm looking at doing soon but am not 100% sure on the best tickets to get :(

Brockenhurst: 1412
Lymington Pier: 1423

I will be applying a priv discount to these tickets where possible, I know there's a Freedom of Severn and Solent rover but I'm travelling over one day and not 3.

I am also open to split tickets BUT I need to be on these trains above.

I'm not an expert on this area but if you *have* to be on these trains there sem to be a lot of very tight connections.

I'd be surprised if they all worked.

I do believe there is no requirement on the Freedom of Severn and Solent rover to actually use the whole 3 days out of 7. (Although I may be incorrect).

No, I don't believe so - its up to you how and if you use the days is it not?

I believe the poster was coming from the angle that a ticket valid for 3 days can't be good value if only used for 1 day (when indeed, as many on this forum will attest, it actually might be).

PRIV holders get 75% (at least i think this is correct) off a 3 in 7 day Freedom of Severn & Solent, which is £42.00 without any discount. I make it around about £11.00 with PRIV.
