And a right mixture of withdrawn stock in the MoD sidings at Shoeburyness. They only appear on Bing's bird's eye view, not the direct aerial view or Google's view.

Tube stock, 312s, southern EMUs, a DMU, some electric locos.

Hmm, annoyingly as you zoom in and out the contents totally change!

Looks to be an issue with the tracks there...

They stitch images together.....badly!!! :)

If you head towards the town a bit, there's another unit on the same line. Disaster waiting to happen.

It's probably the same unit, the street view car probably stopped at the entrance of the station to check where the car is going next and the 156 passed by(?)

I'll try and get a street view inside Durham station :)

Find the view you want, then click on the link button:

Screen_Shot_2014_02_21_at_2_49_35_pm.png

Which will give you a link you can copy/paste:

https://maps.google.com.au/?ll=-35....NzpOikX5bGckKe57EQBFyw&cbp=12,349.68,,0,-0.91

By the way, it's a pair of NR Class locos (3000kW GE 7FDL locos, built 1996-98 in Australia) owned by Pacific National waiting in the crossing loop at Tailem Bend on an Adelaide-Melbourne intermodal train.

Bit off topic but one of my faves on Google Maps (satellite image - not Street View) is If you search for Russell Square, London

With that roof profile, it can only be a class 59 or 66 but most likely a 66 unless the 59s have started doing intermodal

Would anyone be able to hazard a reasonable guess what class loco this is, https://www.google.com/maps/@53.398...ata=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1smn1CAu9th6Ku9f_Nmb64NA!2e0

its on the mid Cheshire line as it runs near to the former Baguley railway station, the train has just taken the freight line that connects in just on the other side of the bridge and comes in from the hope valley line.

It looks like one of the Manchester "Binliner" workings, going by the blue coloured containers. Probably hauled by a Freightliner 66.
