ARRRGGHHH!!!!
Sorry, can't seem to manage to cut and paste a suitable link. Go to Google Maps, search Ashton Lane Partington, pan to the west a bit, zoom in, there's a tank wagon of some sort sitting on what is now a disconnected siding off the former CLC line from Skelton Junction.
Probably more fun following directions than just clicking a link?! Well, maybe....
You might have to zoom on in this one (it's not exactly a streetview but satellite) but here's Balfour Beatty's NTC Machine at work laying down Reading new Depot. Zoom out and you can see the old sidings - and the full length of the HBOC.

EMT HST and Eurostar in St Pancras - http://btlondon2012.co.uk/pano.html...0.6691&imarkerath=-116.9502&imarkeratv=6.0566On a similar theme, what about trains on the BT Tower 360 Panorama at http://btlondon2012.co.uk/pano.html?
If you look ever so slightly West of North and zoom in on the red crane you'll see 350 234 heading in/out of Euston but can anybody find any others?
Oh yes, so there is. A bit of Googling reveals that it is actually an abandoned VDA van, rather than a tanker, that was previously used as a barrier or "reach" wagon with the Shell chemicals trains that ran to the Carrington compound, where it still remains, completely isolated from the network! Thanks Ben, but no, not by miles. Your link went to North Manchester.
Near the Manchester Ship Canal, north of the disused (but apparently not irrevocably closed) line from Stockport to Cadishead via Skelton Jct. About 500m
to the east of the Ship Canal, there's a spur to some former sidings aligned south-north. Zoom in on the sattelite image, and there's track intact with some sort of tanker wagon on.

Anyone found the Lowland or Cornish sleeper? Or the Highland sleeper elsewhere?
