I voted Leave, and I can't describe the buzz it gives you. It's exhilarating!

If you vote for Remain, you're voting for things to stay as they are (best case scenario) or for us to get dragged down economically by the Italian banking crisis (most realistic scenario). Nothing to get exited about.

When you put your cross next to Leave, however, it really is the most euphoric sensation. I highly recommend everyone here tries it!

This is most worrying, as from what you say, there appears to be an impregnation of illegal drug substances in the section of the ballot paper for leaving the EU in the section where a cross is to be marked, which could be activated by any breaking of the paper surface there by marking a cross in that box,

We need more evidence. Everyone should try putting a cross in the Leave box, and see if it has the same euphoric effect!

I thought campaigning was not allowed today?
Also the Mirror & the Express are telling people how to vote aswell.

Voted to remain myself. The EU isn't perfect, but if work to try and change it will be better.

I know many friends are remain, girlfriend is remain. Her family i have no idea. My parents and brother all voted leave.

It shall be interesting to see how the results will be over night. What ever happens i hope for the best for the UK as well.

I've been out of the UK for more than 15 years so I can't vote. if I could vote I'd vote for remain.

Leave has offered me no reason to change from the status quo. When they do I might listen but "immigrants. Immigrrants! IMMIGRANTS!!!11!!" and a figure plucked out from Michael Gove's back passage is hardly solid proof that we should throw away 70 years of unity.

There is also no clear plan how to exit, we had the Norwegian plan, then we had the Switzerland Idea, then we were going be like Albania, then possibly like Pluto, we might move on to Gallifrey next. The most common seems to have been Utopia but even that wasn't painted very well.

More than that, if Gutfright is high on whatever was in the ballot paper, perhaps as an act of kindness, we should contact the mods and get his posting rights here temporarily suspended, before he posts something that he might later regret. At a guess, perhaps by about 10pm tonight the effects will have worn off and then he can be permitted to post again?

I voted to remain. I can still remember the country in the '60s and '70s. It wasn't the idyllic, genteel place that many of the older generation describe with nostalgia when asked. It was the last days of almost servile deference, mainly by those without privilege to those with.
If there is a leave majority, anybody who based their decision of such an illusion will come down with a bump. Add to that the universal protections in employment, equality and poverty that the sheer inertia of the EU brings will be disposed of by the Brexit politicians that we hear talking now. (They have indicated that they would cut the employment protection 'Red Tape' as soon as they can).
This country after a Leave EU majority could become most unpleasant for the defenceless majority.

I voted to leave the European Union because I have always had a distrust for it, a dislike for it and it costs too much to fund

Well, as Gutfright is in Scotland, where opinion polls have consistently predicted stronger support for remain than in England. This feeling of ostracism coupled with any possible intoxication, may contribute to his feeling somewhat delirious.

If Leave wins out, the German Embassy may need to hire extra staff to deal with all the asylum claims!

I do hope that this forum is representative of the nation at large (though I doubt it to be honest!). Conversations IRL left me expecting a narrow win for Leave, but being a Huddersfield Town supporter I have an instinctive tendency towards pessimism!
