Can anyone confirm whether there is a particular route the 320/4's are normally used on? Are they usually paired with 320/3?

Thanks

Normally services going through Glasgow Central Low Level and service to Lanark from High Level.

As far as I'm aware, all 320 units are in a common pool, and can be seen anywhere where they typically run (someone other than me can likely provide a better list than I could from memory!). I've certainly seen 320/4s alone and paired together.

They're sometimes seen on Airdrie and Cumbernauld services through Queen Street Low Level, too. I don't know the relative allocations compared with the 318s, though.

I suspected they would just be in a common pool but thought I'd ask.

Interesting to hear they work out of Central High Level as I don't recall seeing 320/3's there - but perhaps I'm wrong.

Off on the hunt tomorrow so will keep an eye on both High and Low.

Thanks

I've yet to see a 320/4 through Queen St; every time I've seen them it's been on the Argyle line or Lanark...

I saw 320 415 and 320 417 at Central high level yesterday morning; 417 was certainly with a /3 but I didn't see what 415 was with - they were indeed both on Lanarks, however.

They are not a common pool as there are clearance issues with i believe the cab steps. They are not permitted west of Dalmuir and some other places I'm not certain of but definitely more restricted than the native 320's.

How many of these 320/4 are in Service now? Are there any green ones still about or have they all gone back to Doncaster again?
