That should be the lot. You'll notice a lot of D stock has been eliminated since my last update, but that's down to withdrawals more than scoring them. A lot more 68s than previously due to new ones arriving. I still haven't added the Caledonian Sleeper 92s, preserved locos, DRS 37s, any 73/9s and countless other bits. One day I might do, we'll see. I did add the 700s though a good while before they entered service mind!

Hopefully by Q4 2016 I will have significantly decreased the amount of stuff in my lists!

Regarding your list of 37s. It is now extremely unlikely that anything other than 37/4s will appear on the Cumbrian Coast diagrams. At first they were TnT due to the DBSOs not being finished (1x 37/4 for heat plus any other 37). Subsequently the sets were worked by a single 37/4+DBSO until the such a time (all to often) that the DBSOs failed and a random 37 would be added on top to TnT again.



With a third hot spare set now in use and multiple DBSOs available plus the availability of more 37/4s, I'd doubt the chances of no heat 37s appearing again.

I also question the appearance of 37194 503 510 521 682 of which are either not owned by DRS or stored/stripped pending scrapping. Also 37703/714 are not mainline registered.

PS. I've managed 218 259 401 402 409 419 422 423 425 606 609 on the coast so far and should quite easily add 403 soon which will take me up to 12.
I've missed 602 603 604 605 608 610 611 612 688 716 which would have me on 22...

I've never done a proper count of stuff had to be honest! Not including withdrawn classes (eg 460s, Southern Region slammers, etc) my last count suggested I'd had over 1,400 trains scored for haulage, but this was many moons ago!

I would say I'd about half way with the LU stuff, 60% of light rail for a rough guess. Mainline wise, not a clue!

Aye I meant to add a comment along the lines of the below for those:

DMUs do not include former ScotFail 170/4s which have been converted and re-formed into 171/2s and 171/4s, as my books and memo files do not currently carry confirmed gen on these.

I thought they were only building 115 of these? Have I missed a boost to the order that I need to add to my own notes or is this a typo please?

I thought that but according to AB Rail there are 60 of each. Whether that is right or not I don't know.

My 2016 NREA has it as 60 700/0s and 55 700/1s.

1,312 requirements is brilliant going! I'll be close to that number myself when I add the rest of the 387s coming. Not long until we all add the 345s and 707s too...

Noddy: As far as I know the NREA is accurate but I guess we'll find out if 700156 or higher ever get red penned!

I remember that I was properly getting somewhere with my 47/4s towards the end of the 80s, when they started renumbering them into 47/8s. It almost made me give bashing up due to the confusion, and don't even talk to me about RES 47/7s because once that happened I didn't know my a#$e from my elbow anymore!
There's a lot to enjoy out there now and what's the 'norm' today will be in the 'History and nostalgia' section in a decade or twos time, so record what you can when you can because at some point we'll want to look back at it and remember how it was these days :)
This is a very interesting time in railway history right now, such a mixture of the old and the new. Travel behind it, photograph it and enjoy it while you can before things change.

I do as well, but then there's so many places I need to get back to. A strong focus on the east and north side of London needs to be had on my next visit, watch that not happen :lol:
