I've applied. I've got an application score of 12.

Nearest depot is Southend Victoria( I live within 3 miles). Second closed as the crow flies is Ilford.

Best of luck everyone! Anyone know if GA require enhanced pass for the tests?

I've applied also, got an application score of fifteen (15). I've requested Bishop's Stortford which would be absolutely ideal.

Does anyone know if we're successful, what the next stages are with Greater Anglia and if there is anything that I can do to prepare?

Thanks

H.T.

Assuming its not changed from when I did it last year;

Stage 1: The paper based psychometric tests. Pass, move on to...
Stage 2: Computer based psychometric tests and MMI. Pass, move on to...
Stage 3: Driver Manager interviews.

Medical and job offer.

Presumably you need to pass the same psychometric tests for depot driver as for mainline driver, so if one day you wanted to move from depot to mainline would you need to pass them again..?

Thanks for the quick response. What were the paper / computer based psychometric tests? What was included?

Thanks

Its the standard suite. Comprehension test, memory test, concentration test, Group Bourdon Test (the dot test), those are the paper tests. Computer tests are hand eye co-ordination, more concentration and more memory tests. And the Multi Modal Interview is some sort of odd type of interview.

Correct, you don't need to do them again.

What if one was to get depot driver then wants to move to the West Anglia side, is there a long list of transfers like I heard there is on the GE side?

Not a huge list, but with Chingford having gone to LOROL thats one less depots to pick from! I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket as you never know for sure what will happen but it certainly has been done plenty of times!

Looks like score of 11 is enough. Buddy of mine just got invite for online assessment.

I'm still waiting for mine. Is the invite based on score alone ?

I've had an invite for online testing. Is there a practice test to do first? Anyone know the time frame in which you have to take the test from receiving it. Cheers

Hi,

Was wondering if you or anyone else on the thread can advise if the initial online tests after application require a mouse or can be done using the pad on a laptop?

When I done my online tests for mtr we needed to use a mouse for some of the timed exercises I was wondering if the same applies to this one.

Thanks
By mouse they just been you need to be able to select things. You don't need a keyboard to type things or a calculator etc.

You can do it on your phone/tablet as well.

It's not a test as such. It's competency questions, to see what you would do in certain situations.

No practice test as you don't need one and no time limit.

Has anybody completed the application without attatching a CV?
In FAQ's on their careers page it seems to suggest it is optional.
I have been self employed for 10 years so a little daunted by the prospect of doing a CV

I've just done the online testing.

Is this the final test before the assessment centre or is there any others?

Thanks in advance.

Just finished the test. Overall it's ok.

Nothing massively difficult, although some question still needed thinking through.

Hi guys, just put my application in. Put Bishop Stortford and/or Liverpool Street for preferred depots. i take it the hour rule will be enforced! How long did you have to wait before being invited to do online tests?

For me it was next day. Applied 19:00 yesterday. Had the test emailed 12:00 today.

I applied for this today. It said I would receive an email confirming my application but I haven't got one yet. Strange...

Anyone else have this?

Well I've just thrown my application into the ring. In the end I was honest and put my address as Manchester (as my current employer is in Manchester!) but added in the end section that I am looking to relocate back to Essex anyway as my family are all there.

What will be will be...

Got my email confirming my application more or less immediately, are you sure it's not gone to spam/junk or something?
