Hi guys, bit of a list but if anyone can fill any blanks in much appreciated. If not I understand.
EWS class 08 on Wigan springs branch
DB class 90arriving on army this morning about 6.45am
Red DB class 92 on Wembley approx 8.45am
Which Caledonian liveried 92 was taking sleeper out of Euston
Finally there was a colas loco pulling what looked like rail lifting cranes through Denmark hill at approx 15.11 this afternoon - think it was a 66!
Cheers guys
Could probably ID a couple of more of these with a bit more info...
When did you see the 08 [see below for possible suspect]?
Where was the DB Class 90 arriving?
Think I've worked out the others:
From the times you've seen other things in the area, I believe you're referring to the (Highlander) ECS working out of Euston back to Wembley on Fri morning (c.9.30am). In which case it would've been
92038 leading;
92014 would've been on the back. 92038 is distinguishable from all other CS-liveried 92s as it's the only one still with tunnel rings and Crewe Electric depot shields on.
The DB 92 is
92016. It's there en route to Crewe Electric for maintenance etc. The DB 92s aren't certified to run on UK overhead lines anymore, so has to be dragged there.
You'll have probably seen Royal Train loco 67006 next to it too, plus tatty EWS 90037 possibly (was hiding behind the Royal DB 67).
The Colas 66 was
66847 on this working:
