There's not really an easy way across the board - you're probably best asking on here as to what you're targeting a day or two in advance and see if people can help you out. Alternatively there's Facebook/Yahoo "gen" groups (if you're into that type of thing) for specific companies or types of loco which may have more info (or people able to share plans for the locos).

If you study certain workings/allocations enough you can detect patterns/diagrams which may help predict the locos - but even then they can change last minute. It'd also probably take an age trying to study all the possible workings for all the possible locos/FOCs so again probably best to ask on here and people who do know all these sorts of things can help out.

Depending which ones you're after, there's also a lot of stored 60s, 67s and 90s at Toton and Crewe Electric and F/liner 70s at Midland Road in Leeds. To some extent these are easier to see as won't be going anywhere, however on the other hand it depends where they are in the depots and also some are much harder to see things in than others (e.g. Crewe IEMD).

Unfortunately, you must be a member of railway staff to access it. Not sure if all rail staff get it but I certainly do in mine. That, I believe, is the purpose of this thread.

Most (if not all) of the DB 92s are stored at Crewe IEMD, which is inaccessible to the public eye sadly; IIRC 92011 is at Dollands Moor on Chunnel duties.
GBRf no's 92021 & 92040 are stored at Coquelles in France, and 92045 & 92046 are stored at Brush in Loughborough. All these 4 are very unlikely to return. This probably won't be the last time this is covered!

707013 is with 707026 on 1403-1519 WAT - WAT, then 1527-1649, then it seems the 1701-1818.
707014 is on 1403-1526 Weybridge to Waterloo, then paired with 707004 on 1545-1711 WAT - WAT, then 1722-1840 Waterloo to Weybridge.

There are still loads of 92's I haven't caught up with. I saw some when first introduced but have been away for 20+ years. I haven't seen 92003/004/007/013/014/020/021/026/028/029/035/037/038/042/043/045/046. There are a few no longer in the UK. Three of these listed here are or were at Loughborough but not viewable when I've visited so far. Some are stored at CE IEMD but as we know, not identifiable/viewable. I've caught up with 92010/044/18/032 & 033 since my interest has returned this year.
