Indeed - the North Korean's are big fans of my youtube channel too!

I do like the 5 as it explores St Pauls and St Werberghs though concede (as with many Bristol routes), it isn't exactly rapid and whilst I think it's an interesting route, I know perhaps most people will prefer the more conventional delights of the 376 etc!

Throw it open to the thread - of the routes of First WoE, Buses of Somerset, First H&D and First Cymru, which are those less than obvious candidates that you like and why, and for balance, which ones are purgatory?

From a personal, nostalgic point of view I enjoyed the X5 and X2 yesterday as I lived in the area for thirty years and the ride evoked many memories. If we can stray in to the realm of fantasy routes I'd love an 'X10' Bristol-Rownham Hill-Portishead-Nailsea-Backwell-Congresbury-Yatton-Clevedon-M5-Worle-Weston!

The best First Dorset X51 and X53. Could also be the worst because of really bad timekeeping due to A35 traffic.

Bath's bendies have now gone on their holidays to RAF Fairford to provide shuttle buses for The Royal Air International Tattoo.

I presume with these away, plus the E400MMCs on holiday at Didcot Parkway, the U1 in Bath is solely in the hands of B7TL ALX400s over the weekend.

Is there any reason as to why you didn't get the 173 from Wells to Bath to save you going back up to Bristol on the 376 and then on the X39?

Does anybody know if the west of England network ticket is valid on the a1 airport service
No, not of the FirstDay, FirstWeek, FirstYear or Avon/Bristol Rider tickets are valid on the A1 or A3 Flyers.

From Bristol it is £8 single or £13 return off bus Or £7 Or £11 respectively on the mTicket app or Bristol Airport's website.

I wonder why they borrowed on from Dorset, wouldn't it have been easier to use 32001, 32002 or 32012 from Weston?

I know in the past as well as Bath's bendies they have also used the open top RM from Berkshire.

Two buses were taken up, I don't know what the other was alongside 44905. They were taken as far as Bolton, being swapped for the deckers there.
Did some not originate up in Glasgow? They've been all over the place so have lost track! Wonder what work they want extra deckers for.

44905-20 were new to Glasgow 2, so worked in Lanarkshire. Also at Plymouth, Wales, Bristol, Weston (some), Bath and, of course, some have headed to Glasgow, some to Portsmouth and then some of those ended up in Cornwall!!

There seem to be problems with the Scanias on the T1 today.

I was on one at around 0930 driver changeover at BRI, and it failed to start despite the driver making several trips to the engine compartment.

And now on 36821 on a different duty, and exactly the same thing happened at Colston St, although after half a dozen or so attempts it did start.

Is this a common problem with these vehicles?

It happened with the MMC's they went through a period when they were still newish where the stop start keep failing and they broke down, but they were fixed and seem to be okay now.

Very surprised there's still no news about the Sunday 2nd September changes yet. There must be some news this week surely.
