Has anyone heard anything yet from the recruitment team, the last thing I had was a phone call over a week ago saying my application was being passed to a manager.

Wasn't on there this morning.

I'm disappointed they didn't have a South Wales vacancy, but here's to hoping for the future!

It did say on the inital e-mail that applicants who had not heard back within a week would be unsuccessful.
They've had quite a large number of applications. Practice material for the assessments needs to be with applicants for 7 days before the assessments and they're scheduled to be booked soon.

I'd say if you've not heard back by the end of next week, you may not hear back. That's obviously not an absolute no BTW.

Very happy had the email today to do the assessments next week, I have done them all but because it was longer than 6 months I have to do them again with DB which I’ve not got a problem with so good luck to all that have got through and keep trying to those that haven’t,

I have just received this too, a shock as I thought this ship had sailed after their stated timeframe had been and gone. I have however just sat the Freightliner OPC assessments so I'm concerned I wouldn't actually be able to attend the assessment day? A little confused..

I also have the dilemma of receiving two invites, one from freightliner and one DB Cargo. I'm not sure which I should go for now

I never got the phone call that some had so thought I had lost out on this one but have just received an invitation to attend an assessment for stage 1 on 23/08. Really hoping to attend but getting leave from work with only a weeks notice might be just as difficult as the tests themselves.

I too have an application ongoing with Freightliner so will need to clarify if I can proceed with this too but I don't think that it will be allowed.

As I understand from another forum post, The OPC will be aware you have two assessments lined up and will advise you to choose one or the other.
Personally, I'm thinking freightliner may be more suitable for me but I'd take either!
I might just be better off calling DB and telling them I'd like to hold off on it if possible.

Has any of you that has had a reply applied for the South Yorkshire position. Just hoping that they are doing replies to a depot at a time. Wishful thinking on my part.

I applied for South Yorkshire. I've only just heard this afternoon so you might soon too.

There's no real 'holding off', you'll just have to re-apply for any future vacancies.
